With over 15 years of experience Bryan has worked with some of the world's largest companies on their marketing and alliance-related initiatives. He has particularly deep experience in co-marketing alliances, alliance education, customer success marketing and the travel industry.
His alliance practice focuses on helping organizations build the capability to identify, develop, and manage their strategic alliances effectively. Mr. Reid has helped numerous companies, including Expedia Inc. and American Airlines, develop and manage their co-marketing alliances with partners such as GE Financial, Concur, and PwC Consulting (now IBM). Bryan is also the former Program Director of the Centre of Excellence in Strategic Alliance Management at the Schulich Executive Education Centre, York University in Toronto where he co-developed the world's first in-depth (a 12-day Master's Certificate) executive education program on Strategic Alliance Management. He also served as the founding Marketing Director for the Toronto Chapter of the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals.
He is passionate in his belief that sharing successful customer experiences and taking an intelligent, educational approach to B2B marketing is the most effective means of maximizing the value of prospect and customer relationships. The longevity of Altitude's clients is a testament to the value Bryan has delivered to Altitude's clients.
Prior to founding Altitude Management, Bryan held director roles in both marketing and alliances for two online travel technology firms, Conducive Technology and Datalex. He's managed relationships with leading technology and service companies and his previous experience includes American Airlines internet division (www.aa.com) where he coordinated the development of an alliance with AOL, as well as serving as a founding board member of the Open Travel Alliance.
Bryan holds both a Masters of Business Administration in Science and Technology and a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from Queen's University at Kingston, Ontario. He is a member of the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals, and the Professional Engineers Ontario.
